Today isÌýWorld Day for Safety and Health at Work.

At 10:00 a.m., there will be the launch of the Victims of Terrorism Associations Network, known as VoTAN, by the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT). The network is a key outcome from the first United Nations Global Congress of Victims of Terrorism, held in September 2022 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The event will be live on .

At 1:45 p.m., there will be a hybrid briefing by Harold Agyeman, Permanent Representative of Ghana to the United Nations and Chair of the third session of the Preparatory Committee for the 2026 Review Conference of Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

Today, the Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC) will release its annual report of the Trust Fund in Support of Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, highlighting support to over 4,300 people affected by UN-related sexual exploitation and abuse.
