The second Ambassadorial Meeting of the Group of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) under the Bureau for the years 2025–2026 was held on 7 April 2025. The meeting was chaired by Bolivia, with Kyrgyzstan as Vice-Chair, alongside the Bureau members from Eswatini, Lao PDR, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe. The Group welcomed briefings by Ms. Rabab Fatima, Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for the LDCs, LLDCs and SIDS, and H.E. Mr. Zheenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Vice-Chair of the Group.

The meeting focused on preparations for the Third United Nations Conference on LLDCs (LLDC3). Key updates were shared on the structure and priorities of the Conference, including high-level roundtables, side events, and deliverables under the new Programme of Action. Delegations reaffirmed their commitment to high-level participation, regional cooperation, and strengthened global advocacy for LLDCs.
